The Center for Urban Community Services, a national leader in the development of effective housing and service initiatives for homeless people, invites applications for a Tenant Services Activity Assistant at the Christopher. The Christopher is located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, a 167 unit supportive housing residence for low income tenants, many of whom have histories of mental illness, homelessness, substance abuse and /or HIV/AIDS.

The Activity Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Tenant Services’ programming needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: tenant participation outreach, assisting with event preparation and organization, escorting on tenant trips, creating flyers for activities/events, maintaining building bulletin boards, and assisting with reports and newsletters.
