The Center for Women and Families – Lead Crisis Response Advocate

The Center for Women and Families is looking for warm, caring, empathetic individuals driven by a desire to help others! The Lead Crisis Response Advocate will help to move toward our vision of thriving survivors in safe communities.
The Center for Women and Families provides free services to people of all identities who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual assault. We help our clients and their dependent children become survivors through trauma-informed advocacy. Our goal is to mitigate the impact of trauma by reducing their risk factors and building their resiliency. We serve anyone in Jefferson, Bullitt, Spencer, Shelby, Oldham, Henry and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana.
The Lead Crisis Response Advocate (CRA) is responsible for training and mentoring new staff. They model exemplary performance to all staff and volunteers. The Lead CRA provides shift oversight to call center operations and engages in crisis response program initiatives. They are responsible for providing direct service to clients in a 24/7 call center environment as well as training and instruction for new employees.
