Center Street Pharmacy is a long-term care pharmacy delivering excellence in pharmaceutical care to nursing facilities across North Carolina. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain patient files
• Respond to requests for medical records
• Assist with troubleshooting questions regarding the electronic medication administration record (MAR) and paper MAR
• Updates all necessary changes to the MAR
• Create and maintain patient files for long term care facilities by initiating records for new patients and appropriately filing data
• Ensure proper follow up is given to inquiries from facilities
• Review all new orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Process discharge and admissions documents
• Assist Order Entry department, when needed
• Prints monthly paper MARs
• Input prescriptions for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Facilities
• Ensure proper follow up is given to inquiries from facilities
• Review all new orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Process discharge and admissions documents
• Accurately enter patient information into the pharmacy database to assist with proper billing
• Maintain facility communication logs
• Participate in special projects, when needed

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active technician registration by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (Required)
• PTCB Certification (Preferred)

Experience:

• 3 Years Pharmacy Experience (Required)
• Experience in Long Term Care Pharmacy (Preferred)

Requirements:

• Well-versed in customer service and be able to build customer relationships
• Detail-oriented
• Reliable

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
