HELP OTHERS BY PROVIDING A CLEAN AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT!

As a Handyman Custodian at The Meadowglade, you'll report directly to the Facility Manager, and help ensure that all general areas and client rooms are hotel-ready at all times.

We are hiring for Full-time hours Monday - Friday.

Starting pay is $21 per / hour depending on experience.

In this role, you will support by maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly, and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and visitors.

YOU WILL :

• Safely operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, etc.
• Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, human waste, bodily fluids, and other disposable materials. Empties trash containers throughout the day.
• Responsible for cleaning the kitchen, living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, game rooms, and all areas of the house daily.
• Transport both food and clients in company vehicles.
• Responsible for light repairs including fixing a stopped toilet and hanging pictures.
• Washing, drying, and putting away linens such as bedding, towels, tablecloths, etc.
• Completes monthly inventory of supplies and communicates additional needs to the Facility Manager.
• Assist in daily operations and other operational and administrative duties as assigned.

To be a good fit for this role, you will have to :

• High School Diploma or equivalent, REQUIRED.
• 1 years of experience with janitorial / custodial work / housekeeping, REQUIRED.
• 1 years of experience with handyman work and / or basic household repairs, REQUIRED.
• The ability to pass a Live Scan Background Check, REQUIRED.
• California driver's license AND the ability to pass and maintain a clean driving record(MVR), REQUIRED.
• Ability to drive an 11-passenger van.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Team orientation and ability to work well with teammates.
• Dependability and reliability.
• The ability to interact with clients professionally.
