Position Summary

The Small Cell Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of construction projects which may include; vendor selection on-site management, coordination of subcontractors, OEM installers and customer representatives, with a main focus on Small Cells.

Responsibilities

• Communication with clients, vendors, and team members in a timely manner
• Manage assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all activities, including contracting, RF design, product/equipment ordering, permitting regulations, construction, optimization, site acquisition, close-out, and hand-off to ops are effectively and efficiently coordinated and completed on time within budget and in accordance with the underlying contract/LSO
• Read and receive red lines & comments from supervisors
• Create red lines & comments for team members
• Perform field activities such as observing and recording existing field conditions, and taking and verifying measurements within the project area
• Perform quality assurance reviews of internal resources work as part of performance evaluations
• Convert designs into technical drawings and construction documents
• Comply with up-to-date codes and safety standards
• Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers & clients
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and services, and participate in their implementation
• Coordinate work with other disciplines such as civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.
• Distribute work evenly among resources available
• Develop accurate project plan and budget for all assigned projects, modify as needed, and direct close-out of completed jobs including the receipt of all required documentation
• Perform quality assurance reviews of third-party work as part of Vendor QA and evaluate the performance
• Communicate issues as they arise to clients, team members, and other parties involved
• Understanding of spatial relationships to resolve potential interference issues

Qualifications

• 3 years of wireless small cell project management experience or 5 years of project management experience in any other industry
• 3-5 years of AutoCAD experience
• Knowledge of construction services: Telco, power, fiber, basic construction, vendor equipment requirements, and antennas
• Work experience in a professional environment preferred
• Willing and able to travel and perform outdoor site walks in all weather conditions
• Ability to work with teams, and also independently
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Previous experience in telecom preferred

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time exempt position.

Travel

• Travel to sites may be required, sometimes more than 50 miles at a time
• Up to 25% of the time
