A great School is looking for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their growing team!
Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Conducts comprehensive assessments and reassessments of a student's functional, behavioral, emotional needs.
- Analyze data and progress of students regarding their ongoing functional, behavioral and emotional needs.
- Collaborates, develops and implements, including training of personnel, in behavior support plans (BIP, ISP, others) to support implementation and to improve behavioral outcomes for our students.
- Works with the students in their environment, requiring flexible clinical processes and scheduling requiring ‘after hours’ and occasional week-end availability.
- Provides Crisis management and Classroom push in/pull out support as necessary.
- Participates in clinical activities to advance field knowledge and engages in activities to remain at the forefront of professional development and advancements
Qualifications/Education and Experience:
- M.S. in clinical, applied behavior analysis, educational, psychology, school psychology or a related field
- An active New York State License, BCBA certification, and must be in good professional standing
- At least 2-5 years experience in conducting functional behavioral assessments, evaluations and interventions
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities
- Computer proficiency and a working knowledge of Microsoft and other software, and ability to learn Azimuth SIS
