Find your purpose supporting roughly 350 D1 and D2 St. Cloud State University athletes on the field and on campus at St. Cloud State University.

Work is full-time; 80 hours every two weeks. The hours vary because you’ll work in the afternoon, evening, and some weekend sporting events. 

This Certified Athletic Trainer will sit ice side, courtside and on the field for SCSU sporting events. Work at home games for assigned teams and help with coverage for other sports when needed. You will also support training room activities.

You’ll help athletes prevent injury but when injuries do occur, you’ll assess, treat, and rehab those musculoskeletal injuries. That includes guiding patients through physical exams and post-operative procedures.

Some other duties include: 

• Help athletes with durable medical equipment and brace fitting.
• Administer gait training and other therapeutic exercise.
• Work with your patients and their physician(s).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Athletic Trainer required upon hire.
• Current BLS required (we’ll help train you to get it)
• Experience in an athletic training setting is preferred.
