Located along the Chippewa River in West Central Minnesota, 45 minutes west of Willmar and 1 hour south of Alexandria, Benson is a family-friendly community of nearly 3,500 residents. The CentraCare Benson Hospital serves patients in several different specialties.

Summary

• Deliver direct nursing care to assigned patients, ensuring compassionate and high-quality support.
• Assist in assessing the needs of patients and their families, contributing to comprehensive care plans.
• Engage in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, adapting to individual patient needs.
• Effectively communicate patient care information and status updates to the RN/Charge Nurse.

Schedule

• Choose Fulltime or Part-time - from 48, 60 or 72 hours per two weeks | Rotating 12-hour Day/Night shifts | Every third weekend and holiday rotation | Onsite

Pay and Benefits

• $21.18 or more per hour. Pay determined by experience.

Qualifications

• New Grads welcome to apply!
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
• Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

Department

The CentraCare Benson Hospital is a 21-bed critical access hospital with an attached rural health clinic. A clinic and hospital addition/renovation project completed in the fall of 2013. Our group of family physicians, nurse practitioners and visiting specialists work together to provide a wide range of medical services for Benson and the surrounding area.
