Under the direction of the unit director and with the direct supervision of the charge RN and/or staff RN/LPN, the patient care technician facilitates patient care through assistance with activities of daily living; provision of a clean, comfortable and safe care environment; and performance of delegated technical procedures.
Job Opening Qualifications
Education:
- Post-high school special training
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
- CNA or State of Florida EMT license preferred.
- BLS
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
- Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
