Description
Our Pennington Seed facility in Lebanon, OR is hiring a Coating Line Operator. This position is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the seed coating line while ensuring all quality control processes are followed and documented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and create coated seed batches according to the production order in accordance with the recipes
- Ensure all quality control procedures are followed and documented to ensure all product is made in accordance with company standards
- Communicate with the Production Planner and Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure coordination of production
- Maintain accurate inventory counts on raw materials
- Provide support and work on other assigned projects or tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Microsoft Office and general computer skills is a plus
- Possess organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to effectively multitask
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Manufacturing environment where temperatures may vary due to outside temperatures
- Work environment may be dusty
