We are growing! Central Home Medical is expanding its team and needs an assistive technology professional (ATP). We are a specialized medical equipment provider that offers innovative solutions to children, adults, and seniors with mobility, seating, and positioning needs. As an ATP, you will not just be a part of our team, but a crucial player in improving our clients' quality of life. We seek a detail-oriented ATP to join our complex rehab team of compassionate individuals offering outstanding client experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• · Evaluate clients to recognize and determine clients DME (Durable Medical Equipment) or seating/mobility needs while working closely with the clients, vendors, and recommendations of referrals, therapist assessment, or physicians' orders to provide clients with the necessary and appropriate equipment.
• · Educate and demonstrate DME to assure clients and caregivers (all parties involved) know all equipment features, complex rehab, and functions, as well as funding resources and guidelines.
• · Build relationships within the industry by networking and conducting necessary follow-ups. This includes in-services, seminars, complex rehab, homecare events, and potential continued education.
• · Manage detailed documentation of all orders and coordinate necessary bidding and funding sources for successful and timely reimbursement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· ATP Certification

· Complex rehab experience and knowledge of DME and technology a plus.

· Must enjoy working in a rewarding fast-paced, detailed-oriented work environment and possess strong communication skills.

· Valid Driver’s License
