At Central Maine Healthcare our team members are committed to providing exceptional care and experiences for our community and for each other every day. $15.000 SIGN ON BONUS*$34.50 Starting hourly rate, Increasing with experience.Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join the Rumford Hospital Diagnostic Ultrasound team!This is a Full-time, 40 hours per week, benefit eligible position.The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer performs patient assessments, acquires and analyzes data obtained using ultrasound, and uses independent judgment and systematic problem-solving methods to produce high quality diagnostic information and optimize patient care. Provides a summary of findings to the physician or health care provider to aid in patient diagnosis and management. Participates in CQI activities.Education and experience:Prefer two years of radiologic/imaging experience. Specific experience and training in Ultrasound and proficient knowledge of Ultrasound Equipment ARDMS Registered or ARDMS candidate. Graduate of a CAAHEP-approved school of Ultrasonography, or has received education and clinical experience and demonstrated competence to obtain appropriate ARDMS certification within a year of hire preferred.Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
