Central Missouri Facility Maintenance is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Columbia, MO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Estimator with experinace in Residental and commercial construction to join our expanding team! The Construction Estimator will be responsible for securing new work, analyzing construction documents, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget.

Duties:

- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Utilize software, Excell, and other tools for precise estimates
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Develop detailed proposals outlining project scope, pricing, and timelines
- Monitor project progress to ensure cost control and adherence to budgets
- Review contracts and assist in contract negotiations

Experience:

- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Proficiency in construction estimating software.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes
- Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities to accurately estimate costs
