**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Property Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Affordable Housing property, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and compliance with all relevant regulations.
**Duties:**
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all common areas, facilities, and grounds.
- Manage and coordinate all maintenance and repair requests with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, including Fair Housing regulations.
- Manage the leasing process, including property showings, applications, and lease renewals.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify any potential issues and address them promptly.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to obtain the best possible rates.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including rent rolls, lease agreements, and payment records.
- Ensure that all residents are aware of and comply with community rules and regulations.
- Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Administer the Section 8 program, including managing the waiting list and ensuring compliance with all program requirements.
- Manage the AHP program, ensuring compliance with all program requirements and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all AHP and Section 8 program activities.
- Utilize Resman to track and manage all property management activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in property management, preferably with a focus on residential properties.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and the AHP program.
- Experience with Resman is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate with vendors and contractors.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and files.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or a bachelor's degree preferred.
