We are currently seeking individuals to operate a diverse range of heavy equipment for asphalt groundwork and construction projects. Ideal candidates will possess experience in machine operation or a strong aptitude to quickly learn and operate equipment such as asphalt rollers, shuttle buddy, pneumatic roller, screed, and paver. Situational awareness and a steadfast commitment to safety standards are paramount.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience in machine operation, warehouse, construction, or related fields
• Proficiency in operating heavy and intricate machinery
• Understanding of construction materials, techniques, and tools
• Knowledge of safety protocols and hazards associated with heavy equipment operations and construction sites
• Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively across various work environments
• Capability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to interpret blueprints or project documents
• Effective communication skills with team members and supervisors
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures
• Current valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment
• Perform tasks including stripping machines, laying out strips, shoveling, raking, and using wheelbarrows
• Mill existing asphalt pavement to improve ride quality and adjust cross slopes near existing curbs before resurfacing
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Monitor vehicle gauges during operation
• Transport ready-mix concrete to construction sites
• Adhere to company policies, OSHA/MSHA regulations, and maintain a safe work environment
