**Salary:** $80,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience

**Schedule: ** Winter Months: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, M-F; Summer Months: 60-70 hours per week

**Job Description: **

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing and managing road construction projects, from initial estimation to completing the project on time and within budget. This position offers the opportunity to work year-round, with varying hours based on seasonal demands.

**Key Responsibilities: **

• Estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness for state, county, commercial, and municipal projects.
• Develop project plans and schedules, coordinating resources and activities to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Oversee project execution, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for private and public sector customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, maintaining open communication and addressing concerns promptly.
• Manage project budgets and expenses, tracking costs and identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress and address any onsite challenges or obstacles.
• Prepare and present project reports, including cost projections, timelines, and performance metrics, to senior management.

**Qualifications: **

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent experience required.
• Proven experience in project management and estimation within the road construction industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel throughout Western Minnesota, Eastern South Dakota, and North Dakota as needed.
