Central States Group is an industrial distributor looking for a team oriented, quick learner with strong work ethics to focus on customer service related duties for pump/parts department. This position will work in conjunction with Outside Sales Associates to grow their existing customer base and create new customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides timely and accurate quotations;
• Processes orders
• Ensures on-time delivery of product;
• Answers general sales calls;
• Works with vendors on order fulfillment, pricing and shipping;
• Communicates with Outside Sales Associates regarding account status, opportunities, and appropriate follow-up or action plans;

• Develops positive relationships with internal and external customers;
• Stays current on details of Central States Group products and services by participating in ongoing training programs to enhance product knowledge and job skills

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, or one to two years of applicate experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Need to be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Needs to be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to partner with others to achieve results/resolution
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
