Full job description:
Central Testing laboratory, Inc. is seeking to add a highly motivated team member to our Inverness, Florida office. We have an opening available for a geotechnical/construction materials engineering technician. Duties include performing field tests on soils, aggregates, and prepare concrete then recording the data acquired according to specifications. This position requires an ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. This is a full-time hourly position, typically Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm with occasional night shifts and weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
· Soil testing: Sampling Proctors/LBR's, perform density tests, etc.
· Perform tests on aggregate, concrete, asphalt testing and other construction materials.
· Communication with clients, managers and other peers and technicians is required.
· Follow safety guidelines and use proper procedures according to CTL & FDOT requirements.
· Take classes for certifications/qualifications when needed/required.
· All documents must be recorded accurately for quality assurance.
· Lifting 50lbs daily.
· Driving is required.
Preferred Experience:
Experience encouraged but not required.
· Construction/Engineering experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 18
· Ability to communicate with management and peers.
· Clean driving record.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
