This is a highly visible position.Minimum Required EducationBachelor’s degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or related field is required.Minimum Required ExperienceAt least six years’ experience in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or Marketing and three years of supervisory experience.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Word and working knowledge of desktop publishing/graphic design software. Knowledge of marketing, advertising and public relations principles, TV/radio production. Photography skills are a plus. Knowledge of social media for public and community relations to include social media marketing Experience working with media and coordinating activities and special events. Ability to write marketing materials in a clear, concise manner. Excellent communications and presentation skills are required. Must work well with others. Able to meet deadlines and perform under pressure. Professional appearance and attention to detail are required.
