Central Texas Pain Center PLLC is Hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (APP, NP, PA) in Pain Management Near Temple, TX

Description

Pain Specialists of America (PSA) is a Texas-based, multisite comprehensive pain management. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, who can support both our Temple and Killeen locations.

Killeen

Essential Functions

  • Perform physical exams and patient observations.
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
  • Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
  • Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
  • Detect changes in a patient’s health and change treatment plans as necessary.
  • Administer medicines and treatments.
  • Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals.
  • Train patients and families on managing pain.
  • PSA is looking for a Licensed Practitioner who will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care.

Requirements

Requirements:

Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.

RN licensure in Texas and board-certified by either ANCC or AANP.

Must have prior experience with pain management or spine/ or ortho (Requirement)
