Central WV Aging Services, Inc. is Hiring a Caregiver Near Clay, WV
We are seeking In Home Caregivers to be part of our team. Our Agency has been serving the elderly and disabled since 1974. Are you friendly, trustworthy and caring? We are currently looking for Direct Care Staff / Caregivers / Homemakers in our Sutton Office. If you would to like help us make a difference in the lives of our clients and have a passion for caring for others and want to be a part of our team, please apply! For this position, if hired, you would work in Clay County, WV for countywide assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming
- Prompt/remind for medication
- Cook/prepare full meals
- Laundry
- Light housekeeping
- Provide transportation as needed/outlined
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy regarding all client’s information
- Complete daily documentation/timesheet
- Understand and follow the agency chain of communication
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the client on a daily basis
- Attend and participate in annual staff trainings
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance/registration
- Vehicle in good working order
- Pass background check
- CPR/FA (we will assist if you do not currently have)
Job Type: Part-time as Needed
Salary: $12.50 /hour starting
4 PAID Holidays a year (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
$2 per hour weekend differential (for those who qualify)
10 subs quarterly = $300 sub bonus
COVID-19 Precaution(s):
- Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
