Position Name: LMSW Social Worker Case Manager - Inpatient

Pay Rate: Local-$2200 &Travel-$2480 weekly (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Inpatient Psych
Shift: 8 Hours; Days, 8a - 4.30p
Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week (M-F), Some weekend and holiday coverage might be required
Position Requirements

• Social Work and Case Management experience: 2 years - Required
• Inpatient Psychiatric unit or hospital: Recent/Current 1 year – Required
• Prior Travel Nursing experience – Preferred

Education, License And Certification Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social work - Required – Required
• Social work license (LMSW, LCSW, or similar) for State of MI - Required
• AHA BLS Certification - Required

Job Description

• Provide all aspects of Social Work and Case Management for the assigned units (Inpatient psych unit, may float to other units).
• Assist patients/clients in receiving services by telephone and in person.
• Responding for engaging patients/clients in beneficial activities.
• Assess patients and gather relevant information.
• Offer information and support patients/clients and their families.
• Responsible for contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
• Participate in training, supervision, and meetings.
• Watch for signs of child abuse.
• Provide crisis intervention.
• Perform other duties within scope of skillset/practice as assigned
