A Surgical Nursing/Orthopedic Staff RN typically provides specialized care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries or treatments. Responsibilities include preoperative assessment, assisting in surgeries, postoperative care, pain management, wound care, patient education, collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their orthopedic care journey.
