Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: Local-$1800 to Travel-$1980 weekly

Unit: Med Surg

Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 6.45p - 7.15a

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, weekend requirements - 6 weekend shifts per 6 week period, no on-call

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 1 years - Required
• Med Surg Nursing experience: Recent/Current, 1 year – Required
• Travel experience - Highly preferred

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
• RN License for State of OK or Compact - Required
• AHA BLS, NIHSS Certifications - Required
• AHA ACLS - Highy preferred

Job Description:

• Provides all aspects of professional nursing care in assigned units (Med Surg)
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
