Job Title: Travel-Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: St. Jonhnsbury , VT

Payrate: $50/hourly

Duration: 14 Weeks Contract

Guarantee Hours: 24 Hours

"Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility."

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including monitoring vital signs, performing physical exams, and reviewing medical histories.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessments, medical history, and physician recommendations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress, responses to treatments, and changes in conditions using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations to maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care and interventions as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
