Position Name: Travel RN Behavioral Health
Location: Brattleboro, Vermont

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: Local-$2088 & Travel-$2340 weekly (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Behavioral health units (Adults, Adolescents and Children) and Forensic
Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00p -7.30a or Days, 7.00a - 7.30p
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend and some on-call (48 hours per week available)
Position Requirements

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
• Recent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioral health nursing: 2 years – Required
• Must have experience working with child/adolescent patients and/or forensic units - Required
• Must be willing to float to other units
• Must be willing to take Charge RN shifts.
• Covid Vaccinated – Required
• Covid Vaccination Booster (must be willing to get if not already vaccinated) – Required

Education, License And Certification Requirements

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
• RN License for State of VT or Compact - Required (Facility will pend VT license, can apply upon offer)
• CPI Certification or similar – Preferred
• BLS Certification from AHA - Required

Job Description

• Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral health unit/s. (All ages)
• Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
• Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
• Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
• Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
• Must be willing to charge RN shift if needed
• Must float to all assigned units (Adult, Adolescent and Children)
