Job Title: Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech

Location: [Rochester, NY]

Payrate: $62/hr

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing cardiovascular operating rooms for surgery.
• Set up, maintain, and operate specialized surgical equipment.
• Anticipate surgeon's needs during procedures and provide necessary instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
• Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate surgical records.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT).
• Experience working specifically in cardiovascular surgical procedures preferred.
• Proficiency in operating room protocols and surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
