Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions and treatments to patients to help them regain mobility, manage pain, and improve overall physical function. Your role will involve assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and their families about exercises and home care techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in assessing patients and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Carry out therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed by the Physical Therapist, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and use of therapeutic equipment.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
