Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nursing)
Location: Norwich, NY, 13815
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: 12hr Eve
Pay Rate: $68/hr Depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Triage patients based on severity of condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in [NY].
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification (PALS certification preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
