Position Name: Travel RN Med Surg/Telemetry

Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: Local-$1800 & Travel-2268 weekly (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Med Surg, Telemetry

Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30 am

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 1 year - Required

• Med Surg and Telemetry Nursing experience: Recent/Current 1 year Required

• Willing to float to similar units within the scope of practice and skillset Required

• Prior travel or contract assignment experience Preferrred

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent Required

• BSN or an equivalent Highly preferred

• RN License for State of OH or compact - Required

• BLS Certifications from AHA - Required

• NIHSS Required prior to start

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in Med Surg, Telemetry and float to similar units within the scope of practice and skillset
• The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift
• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using age specific criteria.
• Assists in planning, directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries
