We are looking for a skilled Vacuum Truck Driver to operate our fleet of vehicles for various environmental projects in and around Abilene, TX.

The ideal candidate will be local to the area and hold a valid CDL Class A license. The primary responsibilities of this role include safely operating heavy equipment and maintaining our vacuum trucks, transporting materials to designated locations, and performing necessary paperwork for billing purposes.

The work location for this position is in Abilene, TX.

CDL REQUIRED

What You'll Do

• Safely operate vacuum trucks and heavy equipment to transport materials to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle checks
• Ensure the load is correctly placed and is secure
• Upon arrival, safely unload according to site requirements
• Complete required company training, including safety training
• Perform Administrative and duties as required
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must be local to the Abilene, TX area.

Working Environment

• Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
• Work includes prolonged and repeated : lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling;

crouching and crawling

• Working safely requires quick / accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Legal Stuff

• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
• Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required
