Description
Centurion is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Dade Correctional Institution located in Florida City, Florida. The CNA works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED equivalent required
•Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or ability to obtain one required
•Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
•One (1) year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional environment preferred
•Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
