Since 1997, Centurion has proudly partnered with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide mental health services. We are excited to announce that we will now also be expanding our services to include medical care. Centurion is actively seeking at part or full time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Colwell Probation Detention Center in Blairsville, Georgia.

Family Nurse Practitioner: provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The advanced practice nurse practitioner works under the direction of the Site Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• GA licensed ARNP Primary Care License
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
