Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Telehealth Clinical Coordinator to join our team in our Regional Office located in Baltimore, Maryland. 

The Telehealth Clinical Coordinator III primary focus of this job is to maximize the efficiency of the medical providers and to maximize clinic productivity by managing all of the interdependent elements of the correctional system. Telehealth Coordinator III will play a key organizational role in the development, oversight and improvement of telehealth care for patients in the facility, physician office, outpatient clinic, or other ambulatory settings. Project management skills, flexibility, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to navigate through multiple technology platforms are also the key components of the position. This person works with qualified healthcare providers to ensure the best outcome for the patient, and other healthcare team members to develop, coordinate, communicate and educate all of those involved in the care of the patient. This position will manage implementation and operations of telehealth in other Centurion or subsidiary programs. This position provides supervision for supporting administrative staff and/or Telehealth Clinical Coordinator I and II positions.

Qualifications

· Orient medical providers and facilitators to the appropriate and expected method of telehealth service provision. Offer guidance as needed to maintain acceptable practice. Notify supervisory staff as guidance provided.

 · Keep in contact with all telehealth clinics. Assist with issues of scheduling, staffing, equipment needs, and other factors leading to efficiency and effectiveness

 · Collect and prepare data for central office reports as directed

· Communicate with telemedicine and telepsychiatry stakeholders including the statewide telemedicine coordinator to ensure optimal utilization

· Will work with corporate and program management to identify opportunities for where telehealth may enhance services

· Keep database of all telehealth clinic contacts

· Maintain the telehealth office

· Fill out information on medication clinic forms as directed

· Ensure that the flow of patients is efficient. Coordinate scheduling and notification of patients and security at institutions to be sure that patients are available when clinic staff are available to see them

 · Maintain accurate appointment schedule, produce daily call-out list that includes type of appointment and other information as requested

· Coordinate with healthcare leadership who have overall responsibility for the services delivered in the Clinic to ensure that counselors, officers and nurses are working and contributing to the clinic effectively and efficiently

· Coordinate and assist as appropriate in triaging who is to be seen in the clinic. This includes collaboration with physician, nurse, security, counselors and their respective supervisors. This may involve direct services to the patient
