As the IT Director at our dealership, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and implementing strategic IT initiatives to support our business objectives. You will work closely with various departments to identify technological needs and provide efficient solutions
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the dealership's objectives to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Application Management: Manage the selection, deployment, and integration of software applications, including dealership management systems (DMS), CRM systems, and other business-critical applications.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions and timely support.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the IT budget, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the dealership and recommending innovative solutions.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for IT staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, keeping them abreast of technological advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10 years) in IT leadership roles, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
- Strong technical expertise in business applications management and database management.
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and other automotive software applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, or PMP are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
