Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Department Coordinator to join our award-winning team. The ideal candidate will assist the Service Manager in overseeing and managing various administrative and operational tasks within the service department. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient service operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall success of Century BMW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair Order Management:
- Assist in the creation, organization, and tracking of repair orders.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all repair orders.
- Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Loaner Fleet Management:
- Oversee the scheduling, enrollment/retirement, and availability of the loaner vehicle fleet.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of loaner vehicles to customers.
- Monitor and manage loaner vehicle usage and inventory.
- Insurance and Warranty Schedule:
- Coordinate and manage insurance schedules for service department operations.
- Oversee timely payment warranty claims.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for insurance and warranty purposes.
- Administrative Support:
- Handle general service department administration tasks, including filing and deposits.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for management.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all service department clients.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in resolving any service-related issues or complaints.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a service department or similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of automotive service operations is a plus.
