Century Casinos is Hiring a Table Games Supervisor Part time Swing Shift Near Sparks, NV

FUNCTION:

Directly Supervise the operation and conduct of assigned table games and table games personnel, including reconciling table accounts, while providing excellent guest service. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage the performance of dealers to ensure that each game is dealt to the guest with a high degree of proficiency and that superior guest service is provided. 
  2. Monitor guest flow and notify management when adjustments to open table games are needed. 
  3. Observe, evaluate, and rate players objectively and accurately in accordance with departmental policy. 
  4. Maintain proper bankroll levels to accommodate existing or anticipated play. 
  5. Reconcile table accounting accurately and with integrity and maintain card/dice and all gaming equipment. 
  6. Verify the accuracy of all documents and ensure that all procedures are adhered to. 
  7. Maintain security of designated area and immediately report any person suspected of taking unfair advantage of games to Casino Manager or Assistant Casino Manager.
  8. Notify Casino Manager or Assistant Casino Manager of any significant player activity more than $2,000 or as directed by the Casino Manager.
  9. Assist customers and ensure that questions or complaints are resolved in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
  10. Maintain a high level of professionalism, while setting a positive leadership example. Actively demonstrate open communication in the work environment while providing effective coaching and counseling for staff members.
  11. Encourage new players regarding the merits of joining the player reward programs. Assist new players in obtaining player cards. 
  12. Obtain any information (name, address) on good players and relay to Casino Manager.
  13. Prepare a daily report, including complete and accurate information of that day’s activities.
  14. Initiate player comps within Nugget guidelines.
  15. Assist and ensure that the performance evaluation program is timely, professional, and fairly administered.
  16. Communicate any necessary information to the following shift.
  17. Possess knowledge of the Nugget property and upcoming events. 
  18. Efficiently answer customer questions or if unable to answer, seek answers or refer promptly to management.
  19. Receive coaching in a positive manner.
  20. Support company goals and direction positively in words and actions.
  21. Works overtime when required.
  22. May recommend potential employees for promotion to the Casino Shift Manager. 
  23. Address guest concerns and or complaints in a timely and professional manner
  24. Using the Nugget’s system of recognition, recognize team members who are going “above and beyond.”
  25. Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
  26. Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike. 
  27. Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
  28. Always maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
  29. Regular predictable attendance is required.
  30. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Casino Shift Manager 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 21 years of age. 

EDUCATION LEVEL:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. 

LANGUAGE:

Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language. 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of Table Games experience. 

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Possess mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Excellent interpersonal/guest service skills. 

Advanced in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

Alcohol Awareness Certification is required. 

Employee Gaming registration required. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to walk, stand, or sit for long periods of time.

Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.

Fine finger manipulation. 

Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.

Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
