Job Description:
- Monitoring and analyzes daily/weekly/monthly cash activities including the reconciliation of banking activities
- Reviews and records all database transactions, including both contributed and earned revenue
- Reviews vendor and artist contracts, with attention to payment terms and conditions, withholding tax exemptions, and overall compliance
- Coordinates the preparation of the annual tax return for nonprofit organizations together with the Controller
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple, cross- functional areas in a collaborative, team environment
- Acute attention to detail, with a proven record of reporting accuracy and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of five years' experience
- Certified Public Accountant strongly preferred
- Audit background experience
- Non-profit experience
- Benefit plan experience
- Investment accounting experience
