Senior Manager, Financial Reporting - Be a Leader in the Clean Energy Revolution!
Duties
- Lead a team ensuring external reports comply with government regulations and accounting standards (US GAAP, SEC, FERC)
- Oversee accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting (SEC Forms 10, 10-Q, 11-K, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement in external reporting processes for efficiency and quality
- Subject matter expert in SEC financial reporting and US GAAP, resolving complex reporting issues
- Lead quarterly external reporting meetings with senior leadership, propose key disclosure messages
- Implement new accounting pronouncements and regulations
- Coordinate with business units on SEC and FERC financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards for management and regulatory bodies
Requirements to apply:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a similar field.
- Public accounting experience, ideally with a Big 4 firm and large SEC clients.
- Proficiency in accounting software like Workiva, SAP ECC, SAP S/4, and SAP BPC.
- Experience applying FERC Uniform System of Accounts (USoA) principles.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with business and financial understanding.
- Experience in the energy/utility industry.
