DescriptionJob Summary:As a RN injector, you administer injections to patients, as part of a cosmetic dermal treatment. You educate patients about their diagnosis and treatment plan, talk about the benefits and risks of a proposed treatment plan, explain the alternatives, and write prescriptions. You demonstrate retail products, ensure each treatment room is show ready, ensure the facility has enough supplies for each treatment, and answer any questions that are asked. Duties/Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic and aesthetic services, such as injections of neurotoxins, fillers, collagen, and laser treatments.
Consulting with patients
Setting appointments
Interviewing and medically screening patients before providing services
Performing skin examinations/assessments
Chalazion removal procedures will be required
Preparing treatment rooms
Sterilizing medical instruments and tools
Educating patients on treatments and procedures including what to expect before and after
Assisting physicians and surgeons with cosmetic procedures and surgeries
Performing pre-operative and post-operative care
Monitoring patients during the procedure; and
Staying up-to-date with new procedures and protocols

Education And Experience
Current license in the state of the operating clinic
Experience or certification with a variety of cosmetic treatment options
Current CPR certificate
Ability to adhere to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
Physical Requirements
Sitting, Standing, Bending, Reaching, Stooping, Walking and Lifting
Ability to see, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks
Driving independently to other facilities
Working Conditions
Travel to other locations is necessary.
Work may involve a high level of stress.
Occupational Exposure - Category Ill exposure to blood-borne pathogens and may encounter chemical hazards.
