The Quality Engineer drives continuous improvement in the manufacturing and production operation to ensure products meet customer satisfaction and quality goals. A strong focus on continuous improvement and communication across various levels in the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain quality objectives in order to maximize product reliability through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001.
• Drive improvement in key KPIs related to quality.
• Oversee corrective and preventative actions; review material test reports for customer compliance.
• Prepare PPAP submission packages.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues that arise from suppliers and customers.
• Create manufacturing process plans and FMEAs.
• Maintain compliance requirements by agencies; participate in quality audits.

Requirements:

• Four-year educational degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in quality engineering.
• Experience in Industrial Manufacturing.
• ISO 9001 experience required.
• Preference for background in First Article/PPAP, CAR/PAR and KPI tracking methodologies.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including Microsoft Excel.
