- Maintain echocardiography services in accordance with standards established by the American Society of Echocardiography as well as State and Federal agencies.?
- Daily technical operation of the laboratory.?
- Working with the Medical Director, medical staff and technical staff to ensure quality patient care.?
- Perform echo exams on patients as ordered by physicians with first priority given to trauma and critically ill patients.?
- Select proper ultrasound techniques to provide optimum quality ultrasounds.?
- Position and instruct patients regarding procedures.?
- Copy studies to disc as needed for review.?
- Adhere to Porter Hospital and Cardiology Department policies and procedures.?
- Performs other duties as assigned.?
- Maintain equipment and supplies.?
- Maintain required records, documents, and statistics.?
- Participate in both in-service and out service professional educational programs.?
- Attend cardiology department meeting
