General Information for Cath Lab
Tell us about the unit(s):
• Our facility has a 3 room Cath Lab suite with state-of-the-art equipment. We perform a variety of Cardiovascular, IR, Vascular, EP, and Neuro procedures during the hours of 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have& :
• Strong clinical skills to deal with a variety procedures and patients
• Experience in Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, Electrophysiology procedures
•& Rad Techs-& Scrubbing/panning and circulating in interventional procedures. Monitoring is preferred but not required
•& RNs& – experience in circulating, monitoring, and administering conscious sedation in Cath Lab invasive procedures. ICU, ER, and experience in caring for critically ill patients. Scrubbing is preferred but not required

• Cardiac, IR, Vascular cases
• EP cases
• Neuro
Best personality Fit:
• Must work well with a variety of personalities, ability to work as a team, communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• ACLS and BLS required.
•& Rad Techs& – Required- Radiology Technologist – ARRT, certification as a Radiology technician or Cardiovascular Technologist; Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) credential preferred.
•& RNs& – Required- Registered Nurse licensure. Critical Care (CCRN) and Trauma certifications (TNCC) are preferred
