Job Description
As a Business analyst data engineer resource, he/she need to play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure for our client. You will collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure the seamless flow, availability, and reliability of data across the organization
Requirements:
- Data Pipeline Development and Optimization: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Continuously optimize these pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Data Storage and Architecture: Design and implement data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes, to meet the evolving data requirements of the business. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security through data validation, cleansing, and access controls.
- Data Modeling and Transformation: Create and maintain data models that support the organization's analytical and reporting needs. Develop efficient data transformation and aggregation processes to prepare data for downstream consumption.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers, to understand data requirements and deliver relevant data sets. Document data pipelines, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Automation and Monitoring: Automate data processes and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability. Monitor the performance and reliability of the data infrastructure, and address issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted data availability.
- Emerging Technologies and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering. Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and techniques to enhance the data ecosystem.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure that data-related processes and systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
