SAP Application Functional Specialist - CER 1663Location:- Chicago, IL Hybrid ( On-site 3 days a week)Local to Chicago will be consideredVisa:- USC/GC/H1B Transfer/H4 EADW2 contractNotesMust be local to Chicago
Onsite 3 days a week to the 333 S Wabash
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (these are already set but manager is flexible).
Senior level 3
5 years with SAP experience
Need to have experience with one implementation.
Ability to provide solution SAP S/4HANA costing (mandatory) and PaPM (this is mandatory). If they have PaPM then they definitely have S/4HANA
Must have SAP experience in the Controlling/Costing side (CO module) (mandatory).
Must have experience in Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM)
Preference for version 20.0, but the last 3 previous versions also acceptable
Costing and revenue allocations
Will work independently once they are up to speed
Project OverviewExperience in Financial sectors is preferred
We need a SAP resource to augment our team during and after our SAP cloud implementation. We are implementing CO Allocations and Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) and the FICO Modules General Ledger, Profit Center Accounting (PCA) and Cost Center Accounting (CCA) in support of these.
Contractor's RoleThe SAP Application Functional Specialist should be very knowledgeable with required SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules and SAP's Business Warehouse.
Experience Level: Senior Level 3 (8 yrs)
QualificationsMust have 5 years relevant experience in SAP
Ability to provide solution SAP S/4HANA costing and PaPM.
Experience in SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP S4HANA, SQL, OData Services and other Cloud applications
Cloud Essentials experience in connecting various on premise and cloud database with Analytics cloud
Experience in creating planning data models and working with categories actual, budget, planning, forecast, rolling forecast
Worked on Implementation of the central financial software FPSL Finance
Configured Integration of the central subsidiary ledger FPSL in S/4HANA Finance.
Performed Configurations with respect to the SAP FP-SL architecture and components like SDL, RDL, CVPM and Reporting integration with SAP Analytics Cloud.
Experience in handling Business Requirements Management on accounting standards IFRS9.
Configurated Integrations of the central subsidiary ledger FPSL in S/4HANA Finance
Translated functional requirements into solution design for configuration of SAP S/4 Hana & PaPM.
Designed of functional and technical concepts in financial sub-ledger accounting (SAP FP-SL).
Good Knowledge on Data modelling, ETL, Training and Knowledge transfer.
Confident in Solution design and configuration of SAP S/4 Hana & PaPM..
Experienced in Banking sector and Accounting business processes
Nice To HavesCertification on S/4 HANA Great to Have
Good Communication Skills
Ability to work Independently with Multiple deadlines.
Tasks & Responsibilities> Maintain the configuration and functional design documents and support role-based profile changes.
> Perform all tasks in the development cycle, starting from business process definition to configuration and unit testing, assistance and follow-up with user testing, to co-ordination of transports to Production, to training and post-live support and fixes, etc.
> Complete functional testing and make sure enhancements are tested end to ends. This will help to prevent bugs and ensure the changes work without any flaws.
> Responsible for production issues and should be available for support during critical month end close process and Plan processing
> Coordinate with SAP HEC by creating service request for any issues in SAP system
> Coordinate with SAP team and basis team to complete the tasks assigned
