Primary responsibilities for the Senior Accountant will include maintaining the general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our accounting processes. The role will focus on the integrity of statutory/GAAP compliant financial data through the establishment of effective internal accounting controls, and documentation of policies and procedures. The Financial Reporting Accountant will facilitate the delivery of increasingly automated financial reports and metrics, ensure robust auditable account reconciliations, and support interim and year-end audit preparation, taxes, statutory/GAAP research, and other projects as assigned.

Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP; experience researching and documenting adopted positions a plus.
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality quality, timely results with exceptional attention to detail.
- Manufacturing and/or distribution experience a plus.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, and proficient skills in Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with team members and operating constituents
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Transparent, accountable, and collaborative
- High energy contributor who leads by example and takes on challenges with a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Adaptable / Flexible - being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in occasionally ambiguous situations
