Role Description

This is a full-time role as an Assistive Technology Professional. As an Assistive Technology Professional, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing the mobility and seating needs of individuals, recommending appropriate assistive technology solutions, overseeing the fitting and customization of equipment, and providing training and support to clients and caregivers. You will work closely with a team of professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and suppliers, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in complex rehab technology
• Ability to evaluate and assess the mobility and seating needs of individuals
• Knowledge of a wide range of assistive technology solutions
• Experience in fitting and customization of mobility equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Valid certification as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP)
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Engineering, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or related field is preferred
