Certified Transmission is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Omaha, NE
Certified Transmission is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team at the corporate office located at 54th & Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.
Responsibilities of the staff accountant include:
- Review financial statements and expenses to forecast, strategize, organize and monitor
- Perform general bookkeeping and organize financial forms, documents, and receipts
- Ensure all financial transactions adhere to GAAP
- Create and manage invoices, and oversee payment collection for services rendered
- Gather and utilize yearly tax tables, instructions, and forms for accurate client tax calculations
- Create, review, and post general journal entries
- Participate in assigned monthly close duties
- Build Balance Sheet Reconciliations with meticulous subledger review
What is in it for the staff accountant selected:
- Monday - Friday schedule
- 8am - 5:30pm (45 hours per week)
- $65,000 - $80,000 with some flexibility based on skills and experience
- Weekly pay

Qualifications of the staff accountant include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 5 years' experience in accounting
- Proficiency in state and federal tax form processes for accurate preparation
