CES is looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist Underage Purchasers in performing non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted. The inspection is used to establish a retailer’s compliance with federal regulations. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis, with flexibility relevant to the individual’s schedule.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Travel with an Underage Purchaser; identify and verify site address provided

· Facilitate and observe undercover buys in coordination with trained Underage Purchasers

· Collect evidence of violations, such as photographs and tobacco products

· Complete compliance check inspection forms, detailing any violations, when applicable

Required qualifications/skills:

· Must maintain employment with the State of Ohio and/or be employed by a city/county within Ohio

· Reliable transportation

· Attention to detail

· Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy

· Law Enforcement employees are strongly encouraged to apply

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
