CESA 5 is Hiring a Network Specialist Near Portage, WI

This is not a remote position. This job will be performed on-site at various locations.

This position is a full-time position. Potential work sites include school districts, CESA5 Alternative Programs, and the agency office in Portage.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently while still maintaining a connection in a team environment. This is not a remote position.

Performs technical duties related to computer software and computer hardware. These duties include computer maintenance, repair, setup, troubleshooting, and overseeing network and system software. In addition, the network specialist should be knowledgeable in Microsoft Server, VMWare, Switching technologies, and iOS and ChromeOS platforms. May require flexibility in early and late schedules periodically.

The anticipated start date of July 3 is flexible, depending on the selected candidate. The position will be posted until filled.

Quaifications:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and newer including but not limited to Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, Print servers, and file server
  • Microsoft AzureAD, Intune, and Endpoint Security
  • VMWare vSphere 7.0 and newer including but not limited to Hypervisor, vMotion, Replication, and High Availability
  • HP and Cisco/Meraki switches and routers
  • Fortinet Firewalls
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Google Admin
  • Desktop OS including Windows 10 and up and Mac OS X
  • Application support - experience planning and carrying out upgrades, installs, patching
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills
  • Must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License

Degree Requirements/Licenses:

Minimum of two years of college or trade school education in a computer-related field and at least two years of experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
